Kimberly Farlow

Kimberly Farlow with her violinKimberly Farlow and Linda Selleck became great musical friends when they first performed together for a wedding when Kimberly was twelve years old.

A graduate of the School of Music through the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, Kimberly holds many distinctions and scholarship awards for her violin performances in the triad area. She first performed as a guest violinst with the Winston-Salem Symphony at the age of nine, and again when she was fifteen, and with the Greensboro Symphony at the age of fourteen

Her many music scholarship awards include the Samuel G. Wilson scholarship and the Hillsdale Music Scholarship which allowed her to participate in the Eastern Music Festival. She was active with the Greensboro Symphony Youth Orchestra and served as concertmaster for two years. Kimberly has also performed with the Salisbury Symphony Orchestra and the Wake Forest University Orchestra. She resides in Sophia, NC.
